In short

The ePARCARE simulator shows how the driver app, the parking equipment (a barrier with an ANPR camera, a QR code on the bay, a payment terminal) and the administration cabinet fit together. It runs in the browser with no sign-up and no installation; all data is test data and nothing is sent anywhere.

Scenarios to try

QR paymentIn the phone tap “Scan the QR code on the bay”, choose Centru Car Park, bay 38 and pay for one hour. Then move the clock forward with “+1 hour”: a notification arrives 10 minutes before the end, then the session expires. Extend it from the app.
Barrier with automatic paymentIn the “On site” tab choose Galeria Nord and CLA 482 and press “Car enters”. Advance 3 hours, then press “Car exits”: the payment is taken from the card automatically and the receipt appears in the phone.
Barrier without automatic paymentDo the same with BRZ 917. At the exit the barrier asks for payment; pay in the app, then press “Car exits” again.
SubscriptionCLA 482 has a subscription at Botanica Car Park: choose that car park in “On site” and the car enters and exits free of charge.
Operator cabinetAfter any payment open the “Cabinet” tab: the free spaces, today’s takings and the list of payments have been updated.
InspectionIn “On site”, under “Inspection in the open car park”, check a plate at Centru Car Park: paid, expired or unpaid.

Frequently asked questions

Is this real data?

No. The car parks, cars, cards and receipts are made up, and the simulator sends nothing to a server. The fiscal receipt in the simulator is a demonstration example.

Do I need an account or an installation?

No. The simulator runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone. The app starts with a demo account; if you sign out you can create a test account — the SMS code is shown on screen (2580).

How does it relate to a real installation?

The simulator shows the main flows: QR payment, a barrier with an ANPR camera, subscriptions, inspection and the administration cabinet. The real parameters of a car park — tariffs, zones, equipment — are set at implementation.
